SoloPower High Performance

HIGH PERFORMANCE

SoloPower cells are produced as CIGS technology - Copper Indium Gallium Selinium. CIGS is a thin-film photovoltaic cell structure exhibiting high efficiencies and overall conversion of light to energy. The technology is known to outperform standard PV cell structures particularly in low light or cloudy conditions. CIGS is commonly deposited onto glass substrates - this is where SoloPower's patented technology is different. Using advanced manufacturing processes, CIGS is deposited on a flexible substrate and encapsulated with a thermoplastic layer. The thermoplastic used is of the highest specification available with a lifespan in excess of 80 years. In addition, SoloPower has installed bypass diodes every 3 cells ensuring the panel produces power regardless of shading and or penetration.
